“Christian Rationalism Gives Us a Life Oriented Towards Spiritual Growth”
The difference between spirituality and spiritism is very clear according to the definition of the terms themselves. Spiritualism is the doctrine that recognizes, whether regarding natural phenomena or moral values, the independence and superiority of the spirit in relation to any circumstance of a material nature, while spiritism is the doctrine based on the belief in the survival of the soul and the existence of communication, through mediumship, between the living and the dead, of incarnated and disincarnated spirits.
It can be clearly seen, as we said, that the meaning of spiritism is of a materialistic nature, has a mystical and religious aspect, while that of spiritualism involves the transcendent facts of people’s lives, reaches their thoughts and feelings, their actions and omissions, because all human beings are spirits in possession of a physical body in each experience, in a continuous evolutionary process of many existences through the improvement of virtues and the elimination of defects.
Consequently, there is no way to confuse spiritism with spiritualism, notably the authentic spiritualism defended by Christian Rationalism, as well as disseminated and practiced at its World Headquarters and in other Christian Rationalist houses worldwide under the diaphanous astral assistance coming from spirits from the higher planes of evolution, that irradiate to human beings the strengthening and enlightenment necessary for them to reach a clear spiritual condition that facilitates daily living with their feet on the ground, distant therefore, from the practices of spiritism, as they are carried out exclusively in the shadow of dense fluidic influences existing on the physical plane.
Therefore, it is very important that people study spiritualism contained in Christian Rationalist concepts and principles, because we are sure that they will learn a lot, including the understanding, with these teachings, of what they must change in their lives, in order to trust more in themselves, to solve their problems with greater capacity, and to be fully successful in their achievements.
