Cultivating Empathy Allows You to See Your Fellow Human Beings as Equals
People who demonstrate empathy in their conduct recognize others as equals, putting themselves in the other person’s shoes. This attitude fosters understanding, tolerance, and mutual respect.
Those who cultivate empathy know how to weigh their words and actions, act with moderation and a sense of justice, and radiate spiritual love by caring about the suffering and hardships of others. It is, therefore, an acquired virtue, an essential value that requires dedication, effort, personal improvement, and the development of other spiritual attributes, strengthening character.
Unfortunately, in today’s world, selfishness still prevails. Many people focus solely on their needs and interests, resorting to practices of worship or petitions, because they lack faith in their own potential. This occurs because, unaware that they are emanations of Universal Intelligence, they fail to recognize themselves as spirits using a physical body in a continuous process of evolution. Spiritual enlightenment liberates by revealing the reality of life and the purpose of existence on Earth, with its transcendent evolutionary laws that govern the Universal Whole and provide human beings with a more serene and balanced experience when understood and respected.
For this reason, scholars of Christian Rationalism dedicate themselves to spreading spiritual enlightenment throughout the world, convinced that this is the path to a more just, understanding, tolerant, supportive, and empathetic humanity. They are aware that each person must fulfill their role, exercising a firm will toward doing good, striving for self-improvement to fully benefit from their passage in earthly life, and extracting maximum learning from experiences and teachings.
Thus, everyone will fulfill their spiritual commitments by applying the spiritualist teachings received, certain that, by cultivating spirituality and dedicating themselves to moral improvement, they will achieve permanent, serene, and secure spiritual growth, as well as consequent material progress, conducted with honesty, balance, and correctness.
