Do Not Waste the Learning Opportunities That This World Offers

Humberto Rodrigues

Christian Rationalism explains that spirits, upon assuming a physical body at birth, enter the “school-world” of Earth to continue their ongoing process of evolution. Each sojourn in this world of learning represents an opportunity to develop spiritual attributes, expand knowledge, and refine one’s way of thinking, feeling, and acting in the face of life’s circumstances.

Before returning to this physical plane, each spirit—within its own stage of evolutionary development—carries out a careful plan, based on experiences accumulated in previous lifetimes. This planning considers achievements already attained, as well as spiritual aspects that require further refinement. With the assistance of more evolved spirits, conditions favorable to making the most of this new phase are established—encompassing factors such as ethnic group, country, family, gender, and other circumstances necessary for spiritual growth.

For this reason, every human being possesses unique characteristics. The spiritual attributes already developed, those still in need of improvement, and various spiritual faculties—such as aptitudes, skills, and vocations—combine to form a one-of-a-kind profile. Although everyone belongs to the great human family, no two individuals are exactly alike, as each follows a distinct evolutionary path and has specific learning needs.

This individuality manifests in one’s character and personality, and is reflected in the coloration of one’s auric field. This field reveals the degree of spiritual advancement attained, portraying one’s level of intelligence, reasoning capacity, the nature of one’s thoughts, and one’s tendencies, tastes, inclinations, and temperament. Consequently, the diversity among human beings serves as a constant opportunity for mutual learning and self-improvement.

The greater one’s spiritual enlightenment, the better equipped one becomes to recognize and overcome factors that might divert an individual from their evolutionary journey. The fleeting attractions of the material world—such as the excessive pursuit of possessions, physical and moral vices, greed, and selfishness—can divert one’s thoughts from the true objectives of existence. Therefore, it is essential to cultivate self-reflection, self-control, and a constant effort toward ethical and moral refinement.

The study of spirituality, as presented by Christian Rationalism, enables an understanding of evolutionary laws—including the laws of attraction and of cause and effect—as well as the impact of one’s thoughts on their evolutionary journey. It also allows one to recognize that, in accordance with plans made within the astral realms of evolutionary development, everyone has assumed responsibilities centered on doing good and pursuing their own spiritual perfection while in this physical plane. Knowledge, combined with reflection, expands inner discernment and provides greater confidence to face and overcome the challenges of existence.

Therefore, dear Christian Rationalists, remain steadfast in your purposes, value the study of spirituality, and strive to act in accordance with the concepts and principles of Christian Rationalism. Do not squander the learning opportunities offered by this “school-world.” Protect yourselves from the influence of unfavorable vibrational fields or currents, and navigate your evolutionary path with mental balance and a strong sense of responsibility.
