Spirituality, the Greatest Asset.

It is with great satisfaction that we celebrate the 116th anniversary of the founding of Christian Rationalism, which occurred on January 26, 1910. Throughout this period, Christian Rationalists have dedicated themselves to the profound and reflective study of an authentic spirituality, supported by a set of philosophical concepts and principles, and by their own disciplinary method, written by Luiz de Mattos and implemented in the Earth-school world with the material support provided by Luiz Thomaz.

Due to the relevance and breadth of the theme of spirituality, its inexhaustible body of knowledge, and its importance to the lives of all human beings, it has become customary in Christian Rationalist houses worldwide to celebrate Spirituality Day on this same date.

Considering how much has already been studied on this subject – of which knowledge is limitless – we can affirm that spirituality requires patience, discipline, and constant attention in its learning. When addressing this topic, it becomes essential to mention the evolutionary process of human beings, since evolution is an existential principle. It is the ultimate goal of spirits who find themselves in this world using a human body, in fulfillment of one of the fundamental evolutionary laws: the law of multiple existences.

In this context, it is necessary to understand that evolution occurs gradually and progressively, and it is not possible to achieve spiritual improvement in a hasty or unreflective way. Thus, it is important to emphasize that all human beings can create suitable conditions for spiritual progress, bringing together factors such as the systematic study of spirituality, discipline in thinking and living, honest work, and the conscious use of free will, directed towards the practice of good. In this way, it becomes possible to form a more subtle and balanced fluidic environment around oneself, strengthening one’s own spirit to face daily struggles, especially the natural setbacks of life in the physical world.

Thus, everyone has resources in the societies they have become part of due to the choices made in their respective evolutionary stages. There is a vast set of habits, cultures, and interactions in human relationships that offers abundant learning material, which should be observed, analyzed, and incorporated into the spiritual repertoire at the opportune moment. For these reasons, we affirm that spirituality represents the greatest asset one can acquire in this world of schooling.

The world headquarters of Christian Rationalism publishes books of high spiritual content, enabling everyone to expand their own knowledge and, through careful reflection, identify spiritual attributes still in need of development. This process contributes to the revision of attitudes and to a new way of understanding life, whenever adjustments are necessary.

Putting into practice the Christian Rationalist principles that best suit the circumstances experienced on this physical plane constitutes the most serene, safe, and effective way to proceed on the evolutionary path planned in the astral plane, adding to the spiritual repertoire knowledge that accompanies the spirit for eternity.
